Hoo-ray for Hollywood...
Things have been a little crazy around here the past couple of days. A TV crew was filming the pilot for a new show called Cubs; all I was able to find out about it is that it's the story of a couple of young reporters both trying to break the big story that will launch his (or her... I'm not sure if the characters are male or female) career. The store was filled with lighting equipment, extension cords, and grips moving things around. It was a little hard to maneuver in the aisles at times, but order has been restored.
Eric Stoltz seems to be the star, or at least the guest star, of this enterprise, and our staff was treated to a couple of days of his presence. He seems like a nice guy, and we're even more kindly disposed towards him because he plays a writer (or at least a celebrity who has written a book). Don't go looking on our shelves for Hollywood Reign by "Eric Baker," though, because it's nothing but a mock-up and the production crew took all the copies away with them.
