Video Games: How They Can Help Sell Books

Two interesting video game related links today:

• Ben Esch, who I forgot mention in my Winter Institute recap, but who I had a great time chatting with (and who witnessed me at one of my lowest points, my flu-ish plane ride to Utah) has a new book coming out, Sophomore Undercover. To promote the book, he did something interesting and created a video game. Help the nerd get across the locker room to use the bathroom! It's actually quite fun. (Via Galleycat)

• Somebody made a whole gallery of video games reimagined with classic book covers. Some of these are great. I love the Grand Theft Auto IV cover. (Thanks to Anne for the link!)

I will now begin making a bookselling video game, kind of like these library games. Guess the book based on only the color of the cover and the last letter of the author's first name!
